Stump Grinding
Stump grinding is the process of grinding a tree stump down below the surface level using a wheeled machine called a stump grinder with steel teeth on a wheel blade to chip away the stump. It is a method often used to remove/clear old tree stumps to free up space or refresh the landscape.

We have our very own stump grinding machine and can carry out the essential works for you and leave your ground looking fresh once again, just like there was never a tree there.
Why grind a stump?
- Free Up Space: Tree stumps can cause great issues with accessibility, they can get in the way often or worst case, cause an injury.
- Refresh the landscape: The tree stump is ground to almost invisibility, and the hole can be filled with chippings, soil, or a fresh patch of grass.
- Efficient and cost-effective: Removing the stump alone or without the correct tools could be very fatiguing and costly. Grinding saves a lot of time and money.
- Effective waste removal: Tree stumps can often be too heavy and too big to be able to dispose of easily, so grinding the stump to chips will make this easier.
- Re-Planting: planting a new tree where the stump was removed is a great way to refresh things. The tree stump may be old, and it's better to plant a fresh tree in the same place.
- Construction: Clearing space for construction is important. grinding a stump down can help level out a surface, as the hole can be refilled.
